About Our Staff

Assistant Administrator

Administrator - Jim Milligan

When utilizing a skilled nursing facility often the experience can be cold and clinical with patients reduced to a number, not at Friendswood Health Care Center. Here at our facility Jim takes the time to get to know all the residents and to better understand the needs of both patient and families.  He derives his passion for the residents from the ability to get to hear all of the great stories that each and every person has and to strive to make sure that the needs of patients, families and employees are handled honestly and fairly.

I have more than 28 years of experience in nursing and management. My history in healthcare ranges from acute care, LTAC, hospice care, dialysis and long term care.  I love working in nursing, especially long term care, because that is where my passion lies. I am a big advocate for all residents and their families. I also love to take the time to get to know my residents and their families. This is very important to me so that a plan of care can be put in place for the needs of each resident. I make it a point to let the residents and families know that I am always available for questions and concerns that they may have. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love walks in the park and I love to read a good book!
